How to take care of your skin while on vacation?

How to take care of your skin while on vacation?

Going on vacation is exciting, but it can also take a toll on your skin. Between dry airplane cabins, new climates, and changes in your skincare routine, your skin may feel stressed and dehydrated. In this blog post, we'll share some tips on how to support your skin on vacation, from keeping it hydrated on the plane to taking care of it while you're away.

  1. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: One of the most important things you can do for your skin on vacation is to keep it hydrated. Start by drinking plenty of water throughout your trip, both on the plane and while you're away. Bring a reusable water bottle with you and fill it up often, especially in warm climates or during outdoor activities.
  2. Protect Your Skin: Okay not to nag because I love the sun and want you to enjoy it too, but make sure to pack sunscreen with an SPF 30+ and re apply every 2 hours. Wear a hat, sunglasses, and protective clothing if you'll be spending extended periods of time in the sun.
  3. Moisturize Your Skin on the Plane: Airplane cabins are notoriously dry, which can lead to dehydrated skin. Combat dryness by moisturizing your skin before and during your flight. Apply our Moisturizing Face Cream and Luminous Facial Oil before your flight.  Also, consider packing a facial mist like our travel size Dewy Moisture Mist to mist and refresh the skin throughout the flight.
  4. Keep Your Skincare Routine Simple: While it's tempting to bring your entire skincare routine with you on vacation, this can be overwhelming and may cause more harm than good. Stick to a simple routine that includes a gentle cleanser, Vitamin C in AM, moisturizer, and sunscreen.   Skip your nighly Retinol and exfoliants.

Overall, a vacation is our time to relax and de-stress, which can have a positive impact on our skin. Stress can cause inflammation in the body, which can lead to a variety of skin issues like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. When we're relaxed, our skin is less likely to experience inflammation, which can result in a more glowing complexion.

Have a great trip! and message me if you have room for one more :)
